Email intake
Integrations → Email shows your workspace’s private address, something like
invoices+k7m2q9xbw4t6v8yz@inbound.invogi.com. Send or forward supplier
invoices there and each is analyzed like an upload. An email can carry up to
ten PDF, XML, PNG, JPEG or TIFF attachments.
Only workspace owners and admins can view or regenerate the address and inspect the recent-email log. Once a forwarding rule is active, invoices continue to arrive without anyone keeping the Integrations page open.
Invoices pasted into the email body, or behind a download link, are not read. Ask the supplier to attach the PDF, or forward the original email with its attachment.
The Recent emails list on the same page shows every email that reached the address, whether it was analyzed or not accepted, and why. Check it first if an invoice doesn’t show up.
Move an existing AP mailbox over
Section titled “Move an existing AP mailbox over”You don’t have to change how suppliers send invoices. Keep your AP mailbox and add a forwarding rule to it.
Gmail or Google Workspace
- In Gmail, open Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → Add a forwarding address and enter your Invogi address.
- Gmail sends a confirmation email to it. The code appears in Integrations → Email in Invogi, usually within a minute. Copy it into Gmail.
- Create a filter (for example, Has attachment) and choose Forward it to your Invogi address, so only invoices are forwarded.
Outlook or Microsoft 365
Create an inbox rule that forwards messages with attachments to your Invogi address. If your organization blocks forwarding to outside addresses, ask your IT admin to allow the Invogi address.
Any other mailbox: use its forwarding or rule feature the same way.
You can also give the address directly to suppliers who send invoices often.
Supplier statements
Section titled “Supplier statements”Next to the invoice address, Integrations → Email shows a Supplier statements address. Statements sent there are read and checked, not analyzed as invoices. Forward them with a mailbox rule; see Supplier statements.
Rotate the address
Section titled “Rotate the address”If the address leaks, or a supplier you shared it with should stop sending, choose Regenerate address. The old address stops working immediately, so update any forwarding rules that used it. The supplier statements address changes with it.
