Glossary

Base currency. The currency your workspace reports in. Invoices in other currencies are converted to it for totals and cross-currency checks.

Check. One automatic test Invogi runs on every invoice, such as “is this a duplicate?”. Each check that flags something creates a finding.

Company. A legal entity you pay invoices for. Most workspaces have one. See Multiple companies.

Decision. The result for one invoice: PASS, REVIEW or BLOCK. Set by fixed rules from its findings, never by AI. See Decisions.

Disposition. What your team decided about a finding: confirmed issue, false positive or accepted risk. A finding without one is open.

E-invoice. An invoice sent as structured data (XML) rather than a picture of a page, for example UBL, CII, XRechnung, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD or KSeF.

Evidence. The facts behind a finding: the values that were compared and what they were compared with.

Finding. One problem a check found on one invoice, with its severity, evidence and, often, a recommended action.

Historical scan. A one-off check of invoices you’ve already received, from a spreadsheet. See Scan your invoice history.

Invoice unit. How usage is counted: one invoice is one unit, whatever its length or format.

Risk score. A number from 0 to 100 used to sort invoices by how much attention they need. It doesn’t change the decision.

Severity. How serious a finding is: info, low, medium, high or critical.

Verified bank account. A supplier bank account an owner or admin has confirmed with the supplier. Makes bank-change checks stricter. See Suppliers and bank accounts.

Workspace. Your organization’s account in Invogi, with its own members, settings, invoices and billing.
